I don't feel like there's too much hurt in general in 73 -- but Tezuka and Oishi for sure. People are probably relieved to see Tezuka, so they're feeling better. (Well, until the end.)
And it didn't seem to me that Inui was bothering Tezuka. I thought he maybe welcomed the distraction. Inui wasn't asking him how he was or even really prompting him to talk, just being there, blathering at him. It's a favourite scene for me.
The way it's handled in the manga is SO different. (I think we discussed a lot of this before, on the big manga vs anime post.) Here, Tezuka avoids a lot of resentment from Ryoma with the match they play in the next two episodes.
In the manga, though, Tezuka still seems more connected to the club even when he's injured and he doesn't go so far away; it feels less momentous there than in the anime.
