Just wanted to let you know that I went back and started watching PoT from the start, and it was so great to have your write ups to read because when you finish watching something (and you're behind) you just want to discuss it or find some discussion, and there it is, Instant Discussion :)
And it's quite weird for me, because I started watching the Anime from about episode 50 or so, the first time around, so I didn't realise what such big character arcs the characters went through. Trainer!Inui is the best.
And at the moment, I'm trying to forget everything that happens later, but I find it funny that Tezuka wants Ryoma to be the Pillar of Support, when Ryoma doesn't even care about Seigaku really :\ He might grow to like his teammates but does he do things for the good of the team? And his 'Tennis is Tennis' comment doesn't ring true to me at all, because tennis is so personal to him.
