le weekend
Battlestar Galactica: It's back! My show is back!
Stargate SG-1: That was damn fun.
Kyou Kara Maou 60-61: Hee! But now my shipping is changing all around. How disconcerting.
Garo 17: This show is getting really good. This episode was actually creepy! And good Kaoru. I'm really just watching this for Kaoru.
Ace wo Nerae 6: I so love this. Not enough Ryuzaki this time, though. Is anybody else watching?
Worked on my WIP and realised two things:
1. When I write scenes that are not in my outline, then I have to scrap those scenes because they are not advancing the story.
2. It never gets any easier to write Kaidoh's POV. I don't know why. Sometimes I feel like he's working against me, because I make him suffer.
In other news, I got a good fortune cookie: Make as many corrections as you consider needed. It sounds like a philosophy for life.

Ace wo Nerae is a shoujo sports series, a live action version of the seminal shoujo sports manga from the 70s. And it's about tennis. :) I'm really, really loving it. I've often wished I could read the manga, so this is the next best thing. There are 9 eps in all, I think, 40 minutes each. I've been watching them around once a week, just to stretch it out. Subs are here:

Garo is tokusatsu. I'm kind of a closet toku fan, mostly because most people that I know aren't interested in it. This particular show is about a Makai Knight, Kouga, who fights evil Horrors. There are complications with a girl, Kaoru, and the story goes from there. Some episodes are better than others.
I do know a few people who are watching Garo; the main character was also Ibu Shinji in the Prince of Tennis musicals, so that drew people in.
Other toku I'm watching includes: Ultraman Max, Ultraman Nexus (so good), Kamen Rider Hibiki, Kamen Rider Kabuto, Kamen Rider Blade (finished that last weekend), and Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger.
See? I'm way more geeky than people think and that's saying something.

It's unsettling when this happens.

I'm a little leery of watching the new KKM if it means I might stray from my Conrad/Yuuri leanings. I'm just not a Wolfram fan. Really, I'd most like to see Yuuri/Adalbert--no doubt because all the romance novels I've read did, in fact, melt my brain the tiniest bit.

It is because he is so pure. :)
Would you think about saving the scrapped scenes and posting them later... like dvd extras ot outtakes?

There wasn't anything in KKM to sink any ships; I wouldn't worry. I've actually been warming up to Wolfram for some time now. I'm not sure why.
I do plan to hang onto the deleted scene and see if something can be done with it. It's quite fun, just not particularly useful in the story.
