The Mizuka/Yuuta scene was where i at last discovered that PoT was going to irrevocably change my fandom life in bizarre ways. I knew that I was falling in love with it before, but when he shows up IN THAT SWEATER, steals the phone, and then says "all ni~ight"...
...things were just not the same after that. I'm not even sure that It's a Date! rivals this moment in anime gayness. The Japanese are a glorious people.
I just watched the bear episode, where they're saying that Fuji should use the Higuma Otoshi, and Inui launches into this two minute explanation of why that can't work for this kind of bear. The looks on his teammates' faces is fantastic. This school has more fucked up people, or maybe it's tennis in general, given the other teams, but I love the warm glow of "we can all be freaks together!" that Seigaku inspires in me.
Also, Tezuka having Fuji and Ryoma play for his amusement is more satisfying than any explicitly NC-17 threesome fic of them can ever ever be. And hotter too. (although if somebody were to write Fuji and Tezuka being sokaing wet and flagrantly alone in the club room after, I wouldn't say no....)
