I've been sort of easing my way into GTD over the past several weeks, and find that it works better for me than any other Get Organized Now! system I've tried. I think part of its success for me is the presence of such a large, talky, geeky, tech-oriented community discussing and experimenting with it. Seeing other people's implementation strategies gives me ideas for adapting the model to my own situation (and it helps, of course, that the model has a lot of flex). And I keep coming across gems like Merlin Mann's recent piece (http://www.43folders.com/2005/05/cringebusting_y.html) on dealing with cringe-inducing items on one's projects list.

What I like best about it is the persistent emphasis on *next action*, because I tend to contemplate projects on the large scale, panic, and lock gears. What hasn't worked so well for me is the weekly review, due entirely to my own resistance (I gather lots of other people share this problem).
