A bit more PoA

My attempts to make a Sirius icon are not going well at all. But hey, TezuRyo!

A few more PoA bits, from tonight's viewing:

* During the Aunt Marge crisis, Petunia can't stop wiping things with the cloth she's holding! She wipes the doorframe as watches Marge float off and wipes Vernon as she comforts him. And she waves to Marge. *g* I love Petunia. Perhaps there will be young!Petunia/Sirius fic someday.

* Harry has a picture of a spider on the wall of his bedroom at the Dursleys. I can't think why!

* The Boy informs me that the clock strikes 14 as Harry and Hermione race to get back to the hospital wing.

* Harry's pantsing of Crabbe nicely foreshadows Snape's Worst Memory.

* There's not enough Snape. But then, how much Snape would be enough? I'm thinking maybe Snape: The Motion Picture.

* When I saw the big Hogwarts door being barred, I was seized with a desire to see a ram taken to it before the end of the saga. ("Grond! Grond!") I guess I just like rams. *g*

* The Boy: "Maybe the choir foreshadows that Book Six will be an opera!"

* I can't believe they are making a lame-ass live-action Thunderbirds movie. (I guess that was from the trailers.)

Ah, but all the Snape there was was fabulous.

I giggled like a loon when the Thunderbirds preview came on. A total and complete loon. Of course, the puppets are the only reason the original show was any good (says the girl who's seen random 15 minute snippets on TechTV).

Thank you! I was babbling about that in my review, and no-one else agreed! I felt like I was taking crazy pills.

Heh, I could have watched an entire film based around Pettigrew, Draco, the Slytherins; and Filch.

Petunia rocks! My friend tried to keep me awake in Troy the other day by informing me that Fiona Shaw (Petunia) lives with Saffron Burrowes (lady in Troy.)

Hee! I don't flash to GQ at that moment, no. (And if I do next time I watch RotK, I'm blaming you!) But I love GQ with a surpassing love. I think it's my favourite of Alan Rickman's films, actually.

I really loved Fiona Shaw in Persuasion. I'm not sure if I've seen her anywhere else, but she's lovely.

I'm just getting into Prince of Tennis fic. I've read the manga through v.8 and I'm starting to d/l the anime, but I haven't read much in the way of fic. Any recs for a PoT newbie?

I'm just a newbie myself! I've only been watching for about a month (just up to ep 46 or so of the anime and haven't read any of the manga at all) and just started look for fic this week.
