You know what I was thinking about the whole schooling thing? HP fic is missing out on the grand genre of Stupid Governess (or Tutor) Romance. All my recent college-grad friends who didn't end up in academia or abroad are teaching . . . And I sort of suspect the same thing happens to Hogwarts graduates who don't know what to do with their lives.
